Risk Discussion & Health: Accidents and Emergencies

Risk Discussion

1. Would life be boring without risk?

I think life is more interesting when you take risk. It makes life more colorful. Makes you seek for something more.

2. Are risk-takers more successful in life?

Think good before taking it, think that Yes!!! "Who don't risk, those don't drink champagne" :)

3. Do you think life is riskier today than it was 50 years ago?

More things were invented (machines, cars, and i.e.). Have to take a bigger risk in business, because of big rivalry. So Yes.

4. What is risk management? Have you ever applied it in your life?

I think resources have to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of opportunities.
I've never applied for one.

5. What risks have you taken that have gone wrong, and which have worked?

Everything is risk, even this my risk to come to study in USA. The new place for me. The place that I didn't know a lot and didn't have any friends or family

6. Have you ever taken a risk with money and it paid off?

I do, didn't worked out. Next time will be better i hope so.

7. If you invested money, would you be cautious and spread your risks, or be adventurous and invest in high-risk investments?
I'm not the person who gives the money that easy to someone else.

8. How do the risks in our life change as we move through childhood to old age?

I think we are more careful and wise when we get older

9. Do you live in a town that is risky to live in?

Chicago is big risk but it doesn't matter where you live or what you do.

10. Do you need to take risks to be better at English?

Yes. Don't have to be afraid to ask questions, try to communicate. Even if you think that won't be able to learn it - take a risk and will be surprised.
